How to Play Pokemon TCG

Pokemon is a pretty simple game. If you are better than a 1st grader at math, I'm sure you can be pretty good at this game. The object is to KO your opponents pokemon by using attacks to hurt the other pokemon. Every time you KO your opponents pokemon, you can draw 1 prize card. Once you have 6 prize cards drawn or your opponent has no pokemon to attack with, you win!
Your deck has to have 60 cards, no more or less. And at the start you shuffle your deck then lay out 6 not flipped over prize cards. Then draw 7 cards that you can look at which is your hand. If you have no basics in your hand, you shuffle your deck over again and your opponent draws 1 card.
This is what a player mat looks like....

You awayls have to start out with a basic pokemon you can find if it's basic or not by checking the upper left part of the card.
If you have the pokemon that it evolves into in your hand, you can't use it the first turn but you can for the rest of the game.

In order to attack you have to have energy cards, you can tell how many energies you need by the attack name. The bad thing is you can only use 1 energy per turn so be careful on what you use it on.

One of the most important parts of the game are trainers, supporters, and stadium cards. They help you get the certain cards you need in order to win big time. You are allowed to use 1 supporter and trainer card per turn. And a stadium card is used both between you and your rivals team. And whenever someone puts up a new stadium, the old one gets put in the discard pile. And once you are done using the trainer or supporter for the turn, you put it in the discard pile.

If your pokemon gets knocked out you have to put all of the energies attached to the pokemon and the pokemon evolution forms in the discard pile which can't be retrieved unless if a certain trainer says you can.

Those are the basics for the game. Any questions? Well comment below and I will be sure to include them into the post!
